The variety of this region can especially
be found in Coesfeld. The district town is
not just known as the seat of authorities and as a shopping centre, it also has a diverse
offer of art, culture and sports. A prosperous, nice city in which customs and
tradition are still of great value. As examples, the historical Ursula-market and the Whit
week can be mentioned. A special jewel is the nation-wide known glass-museum in the little
village of Lette.
